Part one of two. First lieutenant Michael Torres gets involved in a fight before falling to the ground, and is found beaten to death the next morning. The only witness is his friend and colleague Captain Joe Westcott, who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and has trouble distinguishing reality from his past military experiences in the Middle East.
