Synopsis

After seven years of ducking the question, Lewis and Hobson are embarking on a relationship, but the Oxford detective has a new mystery to solve. Former don Richard Seager is murdered on the night of his release from prison - crushed to death by a Jaguar Mark 2. His wife Martha insists that Rachel Cliff, the sister of Seager's victim, is the killer. Investigations at the college reveal that Seager not only had major disagreements with the provost but was also preparing to divorce Martha.
