Synopsis

En 1969 sort "Macadam Cowboy", John Schlesinger. John Voight y joue le rôle d'un Texan monté à New York pour y faire fortune. Devenu gigolo, il sombre peu à peu dans l'extrême pauvreté, mais il se fait aussi un nouvel ami : un marginal interprété par Dustin Hoffman. Ce documentaire retrace les coulisses de la production du film, qu'il replace dans son contexte historique.
