How the country's surrounding oceans - the Southern Sea, the Pacific and the Indian Ocean - create a unique environment for numerous creatures. In the waters off south Australia, sealions, once a rare sight, are now thriving, while in the wide shallows of Spencer Gulf, a mid-winter gathering of colourful giant cuttlefish battle for mates. Off the west coast, in the warm currents of the Indian Ocean, brown boobies build makeshift nests, while further south tiger sharks sweep in to prey on a whale carcass. Narrated by Barry Humphries.
