Episode 2 : Doc Martin
Doc encourages Bert Large to give up plumbing and to open a restaurant. But Bert's plans look to be scuppered when Martin finds himself treating a host of patients with suspected food poisoning on the day after opening night. Bert hires a new chef, and passes a health inspection, but customer numbers continue to dwindle until the real cause for the sickness is discovered.
Episode 8 : Doc Martin
The preparations for Martin's departure are nearly complete, and he is surprised by the number of patients coming to see him on the final day before his surgery closes. Taxi driver Tommy complains of migraines, but Martin does not realise their significance until Tommy's wife Tasha collapses with the same symptoms during the Harbour Day celebrations. Tommy is driving the heavily pregnant Louisa to a routine hospital appointment - and Martin realises that she may be in serious danger.
