Crime series featuring Georges Simenon's celebrated Parisian detective. Chief Inspector Maigret returns to the town of his birth when he is passed an anonymous message warning him that a crime is to be committed in St Fiacre's Church on All Souls' Day.

Episode 6 : Maigret

Maigret is called in to investigate the murder of a 60-year-old man shot at point-blank range in his own bedroom. Unable to find any hard evidence, Maigret decides that the key to this confusing case lies with Felice, the feisty 24-year-old girl who caused a stir in the village when she moved in with the victim to act as his maid.
