Director Greta Gerwig's Oscar-winning period drama adaptation of the classic Louisa May Alcott novel, following four sisters growing up in 19th-century Massachusetts against the backdrop of the American Civil War, and featuring a stellar cast including Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet and Meryl Streep. The very different March sisters find themselves in a precarious position. Their father and provider (Bob Odenkirk) is away fighting in the war, leaving the family's status and financial security in peril. But the stoic, practical Aunt March (Streep) is on hand to help steer them towards what's best for the family. Unfortunately, that's not always what's best for the sisters as individuals.
