Jason Statham is the cop who's seen it all, Ryan Phillippe is the rookie and Wesley Snipes is fedora-wearing, cop-evading bank robber in writer director Tony Giglio's action crime thriller. Quentin Connors (Statham) is a cop suspended for a crime he didn't commit. But Connors is reinstated when a bank gets held up and the instigator, Lorenz (Snipes) will only negotiate only with Connors. So, Connors is teamed up with pencil pushing Shane Dekker (Phillippe) and off they go to crack the case. Thing is, it's difficult to work out what Lorenz is up to when he refuses to make any demands, and just shares vague timelines and cryptic monologues containing words like "theory" and 'chaos'. It could get intellectual. Could take some thinking outside the box, and Connors is just your man. First tactic - 'we're going in'.
