Synopsis

Nestled among beautiful, grand Victorian properties on Nottingham's prestigious Park Estate, Mandy's 1980s cheap red-brick house is a blot on the landscape. This eyesore resembles a row of garages with an incongruous conservatory stuck on the back. Mandy pities anyone who overlooks it. Award-winning Sheffield architects Howard Evans and Prue Chiles are familiar with unlocking the potential of buildings, to create stylish, comfortable homes. But finding a solution for Mandy's atrocity on an £85,000 budget could be their biggest challenge yet.
